During a routine inspection

We spoke with three people who used the practice. They made positive comments about the service, one described the treatment they had received as "very good". Another person told us how they were pleased to have seen the same dentist each time they visited. All of the people we spoke to told us that they had received enough information about any proposed treatment. There were arrangements in place to protect children and vulnerable adults from the risk of abuse. Everyone we spoke to said that the practice environment was clean when they visited. We found that there were effective procedures in place for the decontamination of dental instruments. We also found that quality monitoring systems were in place that included seeking the views of people that used the service.

In this report the name of a registered manager appears who was not in post and not managing the regulated activity at this location at the time of the inspection. Their name appears because they were still a registered manager on our register at the time. We have advised the provider of what they need to do to remove the individual's name from our register.
