During a routine inspection

We spoke with some of the people who were using the service and they told us their dignity was maintained during their treatment and their privacy respected. They said they were encouraged to ask questions and felt staff had the time to answer them. In addition, they explained staff were good at discussing all their treatment options and they felt they had realistic expectations of the procedures they were having. One person commented "... the dentist, always explains my treatment" and another person commented "I have been going to them for years, they know that I am really scared of dentists so they are very kind and comfort me".

People we spoke with said the practice was always clean. They told us they were given protective equipment to wear during their treatment to help prevent cross infection and eye injuries. People also said staff wore protective equipment. One person told us "It is always clean , it is an excellent service" and another person commented "I have never had any problems, I moved further away from the surgery but I would not change to another dentist".
