During a check to make sure that the improvements required had been made

The provider supplied us with photographs of the new decontamination room and updated safeguarding policy. We have reviewed this information in detail. The update safeguarding policy reflects local safeguarding procedures and included appropriate local contact information. We found that the changes made to the decontamination room complied with the essential quality requirements for decontamination procedures.

During a routine inspection

People's privacy, dignity and independence were respected.

People experienced care, treatment and support that met their needs and protected their rights.

People who use the service were not protected from the risk of abuse, because the provider had not taken reasonable steps to identify the possibility of abuse and prevent abuse from happening.

People were not protected from the risk of infection because appropriate guidance had not been followed.

There were enough qualified, skilled and experienced staff to meet people's needs.
