During a routine inspection

On the day of the inspection we spoke with people who used the service. They told us “the staff are friendly and informative” and “they talk things through with you, you are not put under any pressure to have treatment.” Another person said that they were impressed with the staff remembering things about them and that the “reception staff were outstanding.”

We looked at the surgery records. We saw people had treatment plans which set out their treatment needs and costs.

We observed that the practice had effective systems in place to reduce the risk of the spread of infection. People told us they felt the practice treatment rooms were clean. They said they felt safe using the practice and confident in the dental care provided.

We saw that the provider undertook regular audits to monitor and review the quality and safety of the service provided.
