During a routine inspection

We were unable to speak with patients during our inspection but we saw some completed patient satisfaction survey forms and comments sent to the practice by patients. All the feedback we saw was positive. Comments from patients included 'I have been with this practice for over 20 years and they have always been superb and 'Personally I do not think [the dental practice] could be improved'. Most respondents rated their overall experience at the practice as 'excellent'.

We saw evidence that information about treatment options was given to patients verbally and in writing.

The surgery appeared clean and well maintained and we saw the correct decontamination procedures were used for dental equipment.

The dentist and dental nurses maintained their registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) and had all been trained in emergency procedures.
