During a routine inspection
Records showed people's medical history was updated regularly. One person told us, 'They checked my medical history today in case there were any changes.'
We saw the reception, waiting area and the dental surgeries were all clean and tidy. The dental nurse described the processes for decontamination and sterilisation of instruments. This met the essentials standards required for dental surgeries.
One person told us, 'You get the feeling the nurses are trained. They know what they are doing.' Records showed staff received appropriate training.
Records showed people had completed a questionnaire about the quality of service they received in September 2012. We saw the results for the service had been analysed and were positive.
