Overview

Inspection carried out on 25 April 2013

During a routine inspection

People receiving orthodontic treatment were given information and advice about all aspects of their care. They were invited to complete a satisfaction survey at regular intervals. Patient records on a computer system contained all of the relevant clinical information. The practice had the necessary equipment and medication for dealing with medical emergencies. The practice had a separate decontamination room and relevant guidance for cleaning instruments was followed. Staff were supported by means of staff meetings and training suitable for their role. The practice had complaints policies and procedures and complaints were recorded and dealt with appropriately.
