During a routine inspection

We spoke with four people who used the service. People told us they were happy living in the service. Two people told us that they thought the staff were kind and helpful when providing assistance. People told us they understood the care choices available to them. One person said 'There is plenty of choice of food, today I had something different and I asked for a few chips to go with it'. Another person told us there were varied activities for people living in the service and that they were regularly asked what they thought of the service on offer.

People told us they had personal care plans that covered the support and assistance they required. One person said 'I do have a care plan and the staff ask me questions and I answer them. We have a discussion about things as they change'. Another person said 'The staff here do all what I would require. They do what is needed for my personal care'. People said they felt safe living in Davers Court and if they had any concerns they would speak to the manager who they thought would resolve any issue.
