During a routine inspection

People with whom we spoke confirmed they had been involved in the assessment process and their care needs had been discussed with them. They had also been involved in the decision on how they wanted their care provided. They told us that the carers telephoned them if they were going to be late. People said that the carers were professional in their manner and that they felt treated with respect. People using the service told us that they felt well treated. They told us that they were satisfied with the agency staff.

Comments we received included 'Our carers are very good." 'The staff from Surecare are friendly and like family, they always ring if they are running late and I could not think of anything to change about the way they support us." 'The carers make sure they write up the care records every day so that those following on know what has been done for me." 'I am very pleased with the staff from Surecare." "I have my own care plan and this was discussed with me at the start of the service."
