During an inspection looking at part of the service
The provider had told us that they planned to close the home. We were told that people who lived at Little Ashmill had been told that the home would close and they were being helped to find somewhere else to live. Two people we spoke with told us that they had somewhere new to live and they were looking forward to moving there as they would be with their friends.
We found that staff were welcoming and there were positive interactions between staff and people who lived in the home.
We found that care records had been improved and more fully identified people's needs and how they should be met.
Required improvements had been made to protect people from abuse and respond appropriately to any allegation of abuse.
We found that the service was compliant with regulations and had met the requirements of the warning notices.
