During a routine inspection
People received the help they needed to meet their personal and health care needs. There was an individualised approach to care which meant that people's preferences were known and understood by the staff who supported them. The provider monitored people's needs carefully and sought advice from relevant professionals to ensure risks to people's health and well-being were addressed. We spoke with two relatives of people who lived in the home who described the provider as "meticulous" and committed to ensuring that people received the best possible care at all times.
People were safe in the home because the provider took action to prevent abuse and keep people safe. Risks to people's safety were identified and action taken to ensure they were minimised. There were enough staff with the right skills and experience to meet people's needs.
The provider listened to people's comments and concerns and acted upon them. Relatives told us they felt able to raise concerns if they needed to without fear of discrimination. They had confidence that the home was run in the best interests of people who lived there, describing the home as "absolutely lovely" and commenting that they "could not wish for any better."
