Archived: Meadowbank Trust

People shared with us their experiences about living in the home and we observed and spoke with three people. Everyone expressed positive comments and enjoyed living at Meadowbank. People told us 'I am happy and like living here' and 'I like all the staff here' and 'I like it here'.

We spent time in the communal lounge with people who lived at the home so that we could observe the direct care, attention and support that they received. We observed there was constant interaction between staff and people in the home. People were relaxed, happy and supported by staff.

It was a positive visit and we found that the provider was compliant in all five outcomes that we looked at.

People with spoke with told us they felt safe living at the home one person told us 'I feel safe here, I really love living here'. We observed and heard staff talk to people in a manner that showed empathy and respect. People told us that staff treated them very well and were always polite.

People that we spoke with during our visit told us "The best thing about living here is the fun staff we have working here' and 'Somebody is always around day and night to help me'

Peoples' personal records including medical records were accurate and fit for purpose. People were provided with detailed care plan files this contained information about their health and well being and peoples preferred preferences.
