During an inspection looking at part of the service

We were unable to talk to people to obtain their views about what it is like living at 31 Carter Avenue due to the level of their learning disability.

We did observe that people were relaxed with staff. We observed that people were able to move around freely and looked as if their personal care needs were being met.

During a routine inspection

We were unable to talk to people about the outcomes we assessed and obtain a detailed view about what it is like living at Carter Avenue due to the level of their learning disability.

We did observe that people were relaxed with staff and that staff had a very good knowledge of people as individuals and were fully aware of their individual communication and care needs.

We observed that people were able to move around freely and looked as if their personal care needs were being.

We contacted and spoke with a relative who was very happy with the service provided at Carter Avenue.
