Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The Registered Provider must ensure that by 5pm on 23 November 2020 a specific covid-19 cleaning schedule is implemented to prevent and control the spread of covid-19 at Blakesley House Nursing Home. A copy of the cleaning schedule must be sent to CQC by 5pm 23 November 2020.
By 5pm on 23 November 2020 the Registered Provider must undertake covid19 risk assessments for each service user and for Blakesley House Nursing Home, and identify mitigating actions at Blakesley House Nursing Home, to include addressing risks of covid-19 infection to service users, to and from visitors to the home, and to staff. By 5pm on 23 November 2020 the registered provider must send a copy of the up to date covid-19 risk assessment for Blakesley House Nursing Home and management plans to CQC.
By 5pm on 25 November 2020 the Registered Provider must have in place a sufficiently robust and documented infection prevention and control policy for assessing the risk of, and preventing, detecting and controlling the spread of, infection at Blakesley House Nursing Home. By 5pm on 25 November 2020 the
registered provider must send a copy of the infection prevention and control policy to CQC.
By 5pm on 23 November 2020 the Registered Provider must send a report to CQC to confirm infection prevention and control measures are in place and are being monitored to prevent and control the spread of covid-19 at Blakesley House Nursing Home. This must include the following
a. Checking all staff are competent to use and are wearing personal
protective equipment (PPE) correctly, and recording this checking
b. Ensuring that PPE stations contain sufficient supplies of PPE
c. Ensuring that PPE is stored safely

The Registered Provider must only accommodate a maximum of 22 service users at Blakesley House Nursing Home.
