During a routine inspection
They made positive comments such as: "I'm ok thanks' ; 'we're ok' ; 'happy as houses" and 'I'm fine.'
People who were provided with support from their support workers were overall very positive
Recent questionnaires for 2012 and returned by people being supported by the service and their relatives showed evidence that people were 'very happy' with various positive comments such as: 'I enjoy being involved with M-Power. I have tried new experiences, gained new skills and made new friends' and the 'service is excellent.'
Throughout the inspection we were told the service had various ways of monitoring and managing the support provided such as reviews with people being supported and staff supervisions and observational checks. However we could not find recent records to show these monitoring tools were consistently used as they were not always located in files.
We had also contacted the local authority contracts and monitoring team for Halton social services before we visited the service.
