During our visit in June 2011 one person who lived at Overstones had told us they were scared of one of the staff. On 26 September 2011 we spoke with this person. They told us, 'It's better now'.

22 June 2011

During an inspection in response to concerns

During our visit on 22 June 2011, one of the people who lives at Overstones volunteered information that they did not feel safe when one particular member of staff was on duty. They said the staff member shouted at them when they went into the kitchen. We did not speak with them further about their concerns as this matter had been reported to the local authority under safeguarding protocols and was the subject of an ongoing safeguarding investigation.

One person told us that they are happy here but they are looking forward to moving into their own house in the near future.
