We checked that people who use this service

Our judgement

All appropriate records were seen to be in place, these were of an adequate standard to support and protect people who use services.

Overall, we found that Victoria Lodge Residential Care Home was meeting this essential standard.

User experience

On this occasion we did not speak to people about this outcome area.

Other evidence

Daily records were seen to be completed by carers for each shift.

Care plans had been reviewed and were sufficiently detailed and accessible. Both individual and environmental risk assessments had been developed and implemented.

Fire and health and safety maintenance checks were recorded and up to date.

A record of staff training and supervision was available for inspection.
