During an inspection looking at part of the service
There were two people in the service at the time of our inspection and five people were out at day centres or other activities. The people with spoke with told us that they liked the redecoration that had been done.
We found the home to be generally clean, tidy and free from unpleasant odours. The provider had taken steps to ensure that people who used the service were protected from the risks of unsafe or unsuitable premises.
We found that the training needs of the staff had been identified and staff were receiving the necessary training and skills to make sure they undertook their roles as safely and effectively as possible at Bradford House.
We found that records were being retained in a more organised manner and that a policy had been put in place to ensure that records were kept for the appropriate period of time and then destroyed securely.
