15 April 2013
During a routine inspection
We used a number of different methods to gain information about the services that the agency provided. We visited the office on 15 April 2013 and spoke with the manager, the coordinator, the administrator and five carers. We spent time reviewing all the information that was held, we reviewed the recent Quality Assurance questionnaires and the following day spoke with four people who received the service.
Speaking with people who used the service we found they were all happy with the support they received. They said that their carers carried out the tasks as agreed and they felt they were treated with respect.
They all said that they had received the same carers over the last few months. Also that someone from the agency had visited to see how they were and went through their care plan with them. One person said 'The agency have really improved and my care plan is now full of much more relevant information and is personal to me.'
