During an inspection in response to concerns

We spoke with two people about the care being provided at Bakewell Cottage Nursing Home. We were told 'I feel as safe as I did at home' and also 'the staff are nice'. Another person told us 'the staff are brilliant' and 'my (relative) is safe here, it's reassuring to know he is being looked after properly when I'm not here'.

Both of the people we spoke with felt that there were enough staff in the home to meet their or their relatives needs. One person told us 'If I use by buzzer, staff come quickly', another person told us 'any of the staff are always happy to help me'.
