During a routine inspection

We spoke with two patients, the doctor and the practice secretary. Both patients we spoke with praised the service. One patient said the service 'provides good care and people get the best treatment'

Patients felt involved in their care and said it was very easy to see the doctor because they didn't need an appointment. Patients told us they did not experience delays and the system worked well.

During a routine inspection

The Surgery - Newington Green offers a private doctor 'walk-in' service with patients being seen without an appointment being necessary. There were no patients attending the surgery during our visit, however we saw useful feedback about people's experiences of the surgery in the service's patient experience survey results.

Comments people made in the survey results we looked at included:

'I can always see the doctor on the day I want.'

'The surgery is very clean, spacious and the doctor is very helpful.'

'I can talk to the doctor in my own language.'
