During a routine inspection

During the inspection we spoke with four people who used the service. One person told us that they, Couldn't find any faults." They told us that staff helped them with their day to day support and that they had a choice of meals at all times. They said that the "Staff all know what I Like." They also told us that they could, 'Choose what I want to watch on my television.'

Everyone's care and treatment was assessed in an individual way and records showed how individual needs were met. People who used the service told us that they felt safe living there and were well looked after.

Procedures were in place to ensure that any incidents were quickly investigated and any complaints managed.

During an inspection in response to concerns

Following concerns which had been raised on our 'contact us' website page we visited the service and focused on the issues raised. This included people not being offered a varied diet and not receiving the one to one support they are funded for.

Our unannounced visit coincided with people being served their evening meal. We spoke with four people who used the service who were all complimentary about the food served at the service. One person told us we 'Get lovely food here.' Another person told us that they 'Had no problems with the food at all.'

We received positive feedback from a social care professional who told us any dealings they have had with the service has had positive outcomes.

People were complimentary about the staff that cared for them and told us that they always treated them with respect and that their privacy was respected. They told us that there were enough staff on duty to assist them and that they felt safe living in the home. They also told us that the environment was comfortable and clean and that they were provided with good quality meals and all the equipment they needed.
