During a routine inspection

People in the home generally had limited verbal communication skills. However people we spoke with informed us that they liked the home and had positive experiences of the service. The told us that they were treated well by staff who listened to and respected them and were responsive to their needs. They felt that their views were sought on matters affecting them about their service and that they had a variety of opportunities available to them to engage in activities of their choice. One person summed this up in their comment, 'I like the home and I like the staff'.
