All Inspections

During a routine inspection

As part of our inspection we spoke with the agency director, the registered manager and the office administrator at the time of our visit to the office and to one care worker during our visits to the person's own home. We visited one person in their own home and we spoke with that person and their relative. We asked the person what it was like to receive services from this home care agency, whether they were treated with dignity and the choices they were offered about their care.

The person who spoke with us felt care workers treated them with dignity and respect. They also told us care staff respected their decisions in relation to day-to-day tasks.

The person agreed the care staff met their individual needs and the agency was providing a good quality of care. There was a high level of stability and the person was visited by care workers they knew.

The person who spoke with us was very appreciative of the good care they received. The person who used the service said: "I like my carer very much and the agency is very good".

The relative of the person who used the service felt the care workers were well trained. They also told us they felt safe when the care staff were around.
