All Inspections

23 December 2013

During a routine inspection

At the time of our inspection there were 44 people receiving personal care from the service. We spoke with nine of them. They were all complimentary about their care workers and the service they received. One person said they were 'perfectly satisfied', others said they were 'very happy' or 'very pleased'. None of the people we spoke with could remember a problem with the service they received. They found the office to be responsive to requests for changes. They told us they received effective care and they felt safe with their care workers.

We found that people's care and support were delivered effectively according to thorough and individualised assessments and plans. Systems were in place to assess and monitor the quality of the service provided. The provider had an effective recruitment and selection process to ensure care workers delivering care in people's homes were suitable for the job. The necessary checks were completed before staff started work.
