During a routine inspection

Patients were not available to speak to on the day of the inspection. However we reviewed the survey results of a patient survey carried out by the provider. Patients reported they were satisfied with the care and treatment they received by Dr Kotowski.

Care and treatment was planned and delivered in a way that was intended to ensure patient safety and welfare. Before patients received treatment, details of their medical history, health conditions and known allergies were discussed and this was documented in the doctor's notes.

Staff received appropriate professional development. Dr Kotowski had received a recent appraisal. In order to meet his continual professional development (CPD) requirements he attended regular CPD qualified meetings, courses and read journals relevant to his practise.

During a routine inspection

It was not possible for us to speak to service users during our visit; however we have considered patients' feedback from the patient satisfaction survey conducted in 2011. People who use the service rated the clinic as very good. They were happy with the treatment they received.
