During a routine inspection

There were three people living at Karline Care Home at the time of our inspection. We met with all three people. When we inspected, some people who used the service were unable to tell us directly about their experiences and views of their care. Therefore, we watched staff practices as they supported people.

We watched how staff communicated with people using various tools and prompts.

We saw that people were offered choices and supported to develop their independent living skills, like shopping, and they could choose how to spend their day.

We watched how the staff supported the people in their care. We saw staff talked with people in a respectful manner and had a good understanding of their communication and psychological needs.
