During a routine inspection

People who use the service told us that staff always respected their privacy and dignity. They told us that they always made choices about their care. They told us that they were very happy living at the service as it was like a home from home.

People who used the service told us that they felt very safe and were well looked after by the manager and the staff at the home. They stated that staff were very helpful and they always came quickly when they called them. People who used the service were very complimentary about the staff and the registered manager regarding the way that they looked after them.

People also told us that there were no activities in the home and that the majority of their time was spent watching television.

During a routine inspection

People who used the service told us that it was their decision to use the service. They told us that staff always respected their privacy and dignity, and staff attended to their personal care needs in the privacy of their bedrooms, and kept them covered when they were attending to their personal care. They told us that they always made choices every day. They told us that they did not know about care plans or what they were.

They stated that they were very happy living at the service as it was like a home from home. People who used the service told us they felt very safe and were well looked after by the manager and staff at the home. They stated that staff were very helpful and they always came quickly when they called them. There was always a member of staff on duty throughout the night and day.

People who used the service were very complimentary about the staff and the registered manager regarding the way that they looked after them.
