Mental Capacity Act Steering Group

The Mental Capacity Act national Steering Group is composed of major health and social care stakeholders, including the Care Quality Commission, and is chaired by the Department of Health. Its purpose is to drive improvement in the implementation of the Mental Capacity Act in practice.

The Care Certificate

The Care Certificate, developed by the Department of Health, Skills for Health, Health Education England and Skills for Care, sets out standards for the induction of health and social care workers.
