When the Care Quality Commission visited Howard Lodge Residential Home unannounced on 4th July 2013 we found that the service was failing to meet the national standards that people should be able to expect.

As a result, CQC has issued a/formal warning to Miss Shila Rundla telling her that she must improve in the following areas by 27th August 2013

  • Regulation 15, (Outcome 10): Safety and suitability of premises.

CQC inspectors will return unannounced in due course to check whether the required improvements have been made. For more details of the findings from the inspection in July, read the full report here.
