CQC warns Care 1st Limited that they must make improvements
When the Care Quality Commission visited Care 1st Homecare (Berkshire) on 12 and 15 May 2014, we found that the service was failing to meet the national standards that people should be able to expect.
As a result, CQC has issued a formal warning to Care 1st Limited telling them that they must improve in the following area by 20 June 2014:
- Regulation 21, (Outcome 12): Requirements relating to workers
The service was not operating effective recruitment procedures to ensure people employed were suitable to perform their role.
