Mark Chambers
Mark took up the position of non-executive director of the Care Quality Commission in January 2021.
Mark is a former lawyer whose career included the general counsel positions at RSA Insurance Group and at Worldpay, and senior roles at HSBC, American Express and GE Capital.
Mark is an experienced charity trustee and was Chair of Amref Health Africa and a trustee of WWF, where he chaired the Audit Committee. He is an Associate Director of the Institute of Business Ethics.
He will chair the Regulatory Governance Committee following Liz Sayce’s retirement from the Board at the end of January 2021.
