Andrew Smith Care Home in Nelson is part of a group of homes owned by Stocks Hall Care Homes. It is a two-storey property with a lift to all floors and wheelchair access to all parts of the home.

The home is registered to provide both nursing and personal care for up to sixty people in four separate units; providing a twelve-bed dementia unit, eight-bed younger disabled unit, seven-bed rehabilitation unit and a thirty-three bedded unit for older people.
