Brief description

The home is owned by Greentree Enterprises Ltd who operate a number of residential care homes in the Midlands. The company is family owned and run and have been operating for over 20 years.
 
Bablake House provides care and accommodation for up to 46 older people who require personal care and some assistance with daily living.

The home does not offer nursing or dementia care.

The home comprises of 42 single rooms of varying sizes and 2 double rooms, which are fitted with necessary furnishings and service users are encouraged to personalise their own rooms. Most of the single rooms have an en-suite and all have a private telephone point.

 
The home has five lounges, smoking area, the library and a dining room. One lounge has a loop system for those with hearing aids, another has a piano for musical events and one has a large screen television. The communal areas are spacious and comfortable with domestic type furnishings.

The dining room is in the rear of the main lounge and can accommodate all service users at meal times. The home is set in large mature gardens and is set back from the road. There is a large car park at the front of the home.

Externally there are seating facilities for service users.
 
The home is within easy access to the A45 and midway between Coventry and Meriden. The 900-bus route from Coventry to Birmingham runs close to the home. Local shops and post office are within walking distance.

 
The manager told us that fees charged by the home are in the range of £420 to £550 weekly.
