Brief description

Manchester Adult Placement (AP) scheme provides placements and services for people aged 18 years and over, people with physical and learning disabilities, and people with mental health needs. Services include long term and short term care, sitting and befriending, and supported lodgings. The scheme accepts referrals from any source providing the applicant has had a community care assessment, which indicates that they are eligible for the service.The scheme is based in offices within Crossacres Community Centre in Wythenshawe.

Fees were set in accordance with the individual person's support package and the benefits they receive. The individual fees charged were recorded in a person's placement agreement.
