Brief description

Carefirst 24 is a combined Nurses Agency and Domiciliary Care Agency, this report is based upon an inspection of the Nurses Agency in March 2007. The Domiciliary Care Agency was also inspected in March and a separate report is available from the CSCI for that part of the service. The Nurses Agency recruits, trains and manages a group of Registered Nurses who are then deployed in a number of settings that currently includes a government establishment and a care home.

It is a new and expanding business and has the very laudable aim, set out in their Statement of Purpose, 'to provide reliable, efficient and quality care services in a professional and personal manner'. The Director of the company is an experienced person from the health and care sectors and take a `hands on' approach to the leadership and management of his Agency.
