Brief description

J.S Parker & Associates provide specialist support services to service users living in the community who have sustained a brain or spinal injury. The agency work closely with service users families, solicitors, receivers and other professionals to offer a comprehensive case management service, pre and post settlement, to adults and children. The support provided is tailored to the individual needs of the service user, their family and the medico legal process.

The agency aim to help service users regain their independence and improve their quality of life in line with their needs and personal wishes. An in-house occupational therapy service for brain-injured adults and young people is provided for those people who require this. The agency provided some service users with only assessment and others with assessment and care delivery depending upon their individual contract.


The agency recruit, train, supervise and support service users personal carers, rehabilitation assistants and support staff. They are employed by the service user to care specifically for them and the agency organise the payment of these staff. Case managers employed by the agency prepare costed case management reports for medico legal purposes.

Advocacy and counselling services are also provided and all care packages are regularly monitored and reviewed. Priority is given by the agency to matching each service user with their support worker and case manager to ensure that positive and supportive relationships are developed and maintained. Fees charged by the agency are invoiced to the service user each month and usually, these are paid by the individuals solicitor or receiver.
