Brief description
Advantage Healthcare - Liverpool Nurses Agency is part of a larger company trading as Advantage Healthcare Ltd. There are branches throughout the country offering a variety of services to the community. The Liverpool branch is situated in the city centre and is accessible by public transport.
The office is situated on a main road and public parking is limited but can be found within the city centre and can be within walking distance. The office is on the sixth floor and has access to lifts and is accessible for wheelchair users. Advantage Healthcare Liverpool Branch are not currently providing Nurses to Service Users who are individuals, within their own homes.
Nurses are currently being provided to Nursing Homes and Establishments including the Prison Service within the area. Provision of Nurses to work with clients in their own home with complex needs is an area the agency intend to develop further. At the time of the inspection the agency was employing over 36 nurses plus other care staff supplied via their domiciliary care agency.
The manager has given the basic fees charged for the provision of nursing staff ranging from GBP 20.30 to GBP 37.26 per hour.
