Brief description
Cooksbridge Care Service provide a specialist live-in service designed for people who wish to remain at home, but need to be cared for and supported. The Agency was founded by Susan Gray in 1994 and is housed in a 15th century building in the centre of Lewes, county town of East Sussex. There is limited parking at the office, but there are two public car parking areas close by.
The offices are situated on the upper two floors, with office spaces, plus a training and meeting room and a pleasant waiting area. There is no disabled access, however care co-ordinators always go to the person's home to undertake assessments and give information regarding the service.
The Agency provides care to people who are elderly, frail, have confusion or dementia, Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, acquired brain injury and other sensory impairments.
The Agency also cares for people with spinal injury, learning disabilities and those with a terminal illness.
One of the Agency's aims is to make arrangements to provide care at home in a way that is designed to meet every individual person's needs. Each service provision is individually priced following a home visit and assessment.
