Brief description
Chescombe Lodge is operated by the Chescombe Trust and is registered to provide accommodation and personal care for up to 13 persons, aged 18-65 years, in the learning disability category. The home accommodates people with a variety of complex needs, some of whom display challenging behaviour. The aim is to provide a comfortable and homely environment in which individuals can be supported to participate in community living.
The home itself is a large building that requires high maintenance and is not entirely suited to its stated purpose. It has spacious grounds and blends in well with the local area. It is close to local facilities and amenities, the Downs, and has ready access to public transport. The cost of placement at the home is between 610.00 pounds - 2067.00 pounds the amount being dependent upon each individual persons assessed needs.
