Brief description

The Holt is a care home that provides support and accommodation for 6 people with autism and associated learning disabilities. It is situated in a residential part of Gosport, which has a village feel to it.
 
The home is a large Victorian family home, converted to accommodate six people with autism and associated learning disabilities.

Each resident has their own personal space, with four bedrooms being single and one larger bedroom that has been split into two rooms with one access. This room is shared by two of the male residents who have known each other many years and are happy with these arrangements.
 
There are a number of facilities that are shared including toilets, bathrooms and a shower room. There is a small laundry area, a communal kitchen, a lounge diner, and a sensory room.

There is a small office to the rear of the house, which runs off the utility room that houses the larder and access to the rear garden. There is also a garden that runs along the side of the house to an off road parking area. There is also a small staff sleep in room.
 
There is easy access to the local Alverstoke village facilities and the centre of Gosport town is also quite close.

The seafront is within walking distance, as is the local day service. There is access to public transport, and the home also has its own mini bus.
