Brief description

Greenacres is a care home registered by St Anne's Community services. It provides personal care and accommodation for up to five adults with learning disabilities, some or all of whom may be aged over 65. The home is a detached dormer bungalow, located on a busy road on the outskirts of Ripon.

Local community facilities, including shops and cafes, are within walking distance. Each person has their own bedroom and two of the bedrooms have en-suite toilet facilities. Four of the bedrooms are on the ground floor and the fifth is on the first floor.

The home does not have a passenger or stair lift, but all areas of the home are currently accessible to the people living there. There are well-maintained garden areas to the front and rear of the home, with level access to the rear and hard standing for parking at the front. At the time of our last inspection visit on 6th November 2007 the fees for the home were £724.12 per week and did not include costs for hairdressing, chiropody and toiletries.

This brief description is an overview of the service and may have been updated since the latest inspection report was published.
