Brief description
Croft House provides accommodation and care, without nursing, for up to seven people with a severe learning disability. It is a listed building situated in a pleasant residential area in Horsforth, very close to shops, pubs, a library, a health clinic, GPs, a pharmacy and churches.
The home is accessed easily by public transport and has parking for two cars, one of which is a designated disabled space.
The home is spacious, providing accommodation over two floors, with one bedroom on the ground floor and six on the first floor. There are gardens to the front and rear of the building, with outdoor seating.
The service is run by St Anne's Community Services, a large voluntary organisation. Each person is provided with information about the home when they move in and they are given a copy of the service user guide and details of how much their placement costs.
