Carbon Reduction Metrics for Healthcare Regulation (PDF, 236KB, opens in new window)

In August 2008 we commissioned the NHS Sustainable Development Unit to evaluate the data currently available to support NHS trusts being assessed for carbon reduction monitoring by the regulator. We have now published the Unit's report, and will be sharing it with the Care Quality Commission, which becomes responsible for regulating the NHS on 1 April 2009.
