Voices into action: Help make care better
10 June 2009
We want you to have a bigger say in how the health and social care services that you use should be improved. Our new Voices into action statement says that we will:
- involve the people who use care services in everything we do
- ensure that care services respond to what people tell them

We believe that involving the people who use care services will help to improve services for everyone. There are many different ways we want to involve people, for example through:
- surveys
- consultations
- voluntary bodies, including Local Involvement Networks (LINks)
We will also involve people directly:
- as Experts by Experience
- as advisers
We will let you know how the things you have told us have helped us to:
- make decisions
- assess care services
- do reviews and studies
