During a routine inspection
People told us that they were fully involved in discussions about their care. One person told us 'I had a detailed assessment initially and we discussed exactly what support I needed and they have provided this.' People and their relatives told us they were treated with dignity and their privacy was respected by staff. People said that the staff were very kind and helpful. One person told us 'Staff are very respectful and caring.'
The people and their relatives we spoke with told us they were happy with the care and treatment they and their loved one received. One relative told us 'Choosing Forever Homecare for my (X) was the best decision I made.' We found care and treatment was planned and delivered in a way that ensured people's safety and welfare. Risks relating to the person had been identified and assessed and an support action plan had been put in place to prevent the hazards.
We found there were effective recruitment and selection processes in place and appropriate checks were undertaken. There was a system in place to listen to any complaints people had. People and their relatives we spoke with did not have any complaints about their care.
