During a routine inspection
We saw patient experiences of their care and treatments captured through the April 2012 patient survey. We saw feedback from the satisfaction survey about the staff, facilities and the treatments received.
We saw the practice had systems in place to protect people from the risk of abuse. The practice had local adult safeguarding policies and procedures in place. The provider may like to note that we did not see a copy of the 'Warwickshire Adult or Child Protection Procedures.'
The staff and dentists we spoke with said there were sufficient staff available to accommodate patient's needs. We saw patient's needs had been assessed, risks identified and personalised plans of care developed for each person. There was evidence of specialist dental healthcare needs being met. We have asked that the provider may like to note our findings in relation to some expired resuscitation equipment, needles and airways and the current practice of the storage of drugs at the practice.
