Healthcare-associated infection

Healthcare-associated infection (HCAI) is one of the challenges to safe care in England’s healthcare services. We work closely with NHS trusts that provide healthcare directly to patients to make sure they are doing everything possible to prevent such infections and to provide a high standard of care to any patients that are infected.
