Our judgement was: The service providers are compliant in this outcome are as the care and welfare needs of people living in the home are met. However, to remain compliant descriptive words need to be used in the daily records to reflect peoples’ choices and preferences.

Our judgement was: The service is compliant in this outcome area, as people are protected from any kind of abuse. However, to remain compliant all staff working in the home should attend Safeguarding training on how to protect people from abuse.

What people have told us about this care service

People say they enjoy living in the home. One person said the meals are very good indeed and the care is ‘second to none’.
People who we could not communicate with appeared to be comfortable and relaxed.
People say they like living in the home they are well cared for, have everything they need and feel safe. One person says the carers are very helpful and they are treated with respect and dignity at all times.
People say there are more than happy with their rooms. One person says they have everything they need and have their rooms as they want. People we could not communicate with appeared to be relaxed and comfortable.
People say the carers are ‘wonderful’, very professional and very caring. One person says the staff couldn’t be better.
One person said staff are very good and listen to what they say. Another person who hasn’t lived in the home very long said ‘it’s the best thing they have ever done’. The people looking after them are ‘very good and very caring’.
