By Underground

The closest station is Victoria, which is served by the Circle, District and Victoria lines.

  • Leave the underground station, following signs for national rail services.
  • On the national rail station concourse, take the escalators next to the Gatwick Express platforms.
  • Walk through the Victoria Place shopping arcade and exit on to Eccleston Bridge.
  • Cross the road and go up the steps to Collonade Walk.
  • The entrance to 151 Buckingham Palace Road is a short walk on your left.

By national rail

The closest national rail station is Victoria, which serves trains to and from south London and much of southern and south-eastern England, including Gatwick Airport.

  • Exit the station by taking the escalators next to the Gatwick Express platforms.
  • Walk through the Victoria Place shopping arcade and exit on to Eccleston Bridge.
  • Cross the road and go up the steps to Collonade Walk.

How to get there

You can visit the Care Quality Commission’s Finsbury Tower office using London Underground, bus services and mainline train services.

London Underground services

The nearest Underground stations to Finsbury Tower are Moorgate, Old Street and Liverpool Street.

Moorgate

This station is on the Circle, Metropolitan, Hammersmith & City and Northern lines. It also has Great Northern rail services.

Leaving the station
  • Follow the signs to the Moorgate East Side exit and turn left at the top of the stairs.
  • Turn right and walk to a T-junction at the end of the road.
  • Turn left and walk down Ropemaker Street until the road turns to the left.
  • Turn right at Moor Lane and to the end of the road, where it meets Chiswell Street.
  • Cross the pedestrian crossing and walk down Bunhill Row.
  • Finsbury Tower is the tall white building (the fourth building on your left).

Old Street

This underground station is on the Northern Line, and also has connections to Great Northern rail services.

Leaving the station
  • From the exit barriers, head to the yellow subway (number 3).
  • Take the ramp towards Barbican, and walk down Old Street. You'll pass a petrol station on your left.
  • Follow the road until you reach a crossroads with a JD Wetherspoon pub on the corner on your left.
  • Turn left down Bunhill Row.
  • Finsbury Tower is a tall white office block, two minutes walk down Bunhill Row, on your right.

Liverpool Street

This main transport hub is on a number of underground lines - Circle, District, Central, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan. It is also served by Abellio Greater Anglia and London Overground rail services.

Leaving the station
  • From the main concourse, follow the signs for the Broadgate exit.
  • Walk past the metal sculpture and up the steps
  • Follow the signposts to the Barbican Centre.
  • Carry on straight ahead (past HSBC bank on your right).
  • Turn right at the next major junction into Finsbury Pavement.
  • Take the next left into Chiswell Street.
  • Continue straight ahead (past PC World on the right) and then take the next right into Bunhill Row.
  • Finsbury Tower is the tall white building (Fourth building on your left).

London Transport bus services

Old Street

Bus routes stopping are: 55, 243 and 505.

Follow directions from Old Street London Underground station.

City Road/Finsbury Square

Bus routes stopping on City Road and Finsbury Square are: 43, 76, 141, 214 and 271.

  • Get off the bus at Finsbury Square.
  • At the corner of Finsbury Square and Chiswell Street there is a NatWest bank.
  • Turn down Chiswell Street and walk down it until you reach Bunhill Row on your right.
  • Finsbury Tower is the tall white building (Fourth building on your left.

By car

There is limited car parking available at Finsbury Tower. If you would like to book a space, please contact Reception on 03000 616161 with your vehicle registration details. There is also a car park located at the Barbican Arts and Conference Centre (off Aldersgate St) and an NCP car park at Finsbury Square.
